Face-to-face and virtual versions of a piece in which the participant visits a series of stations based on the damaged ecosystem of the Mar Menor over three narrative phases of speculative fiction about a future where nature has collapsed and the atmosphere is deprived.
“Speculative fiction about a damaged planet”, as its dossier dictates, arises from the environmental collapse of the Mar Menor in the Comarca of Campo de Cartagena. In the physical piece, the visitor explores, with headphones that narrate and encourage him to interact with the experience, three phases or levels. First, he accompanies a biotechnologist from the fictitious company Ronem Ram, in charge of commercialising oxygen in a world where two thirds of the population at the beginning of the 21st century has become extinct. He then observes various natural elements such as rocks, algae and jellyfish. Finally, she is confronted with a reflection on the human condition itself. In its virtual version, the narration is live and interaction is encouraged via camera and chat.
