Dramaturgy of sound to tour Sevilla by bus composed of four pieces.
A group of playwrights propose pieces along four urban bus lines, based on their routes and the people who ride them every day. Different perspectives on the city emerge in each of the four pieces that make up this dramaturgy: La leña arde [The Firewood Burns] (based on line 10: San Jerónimo – Ponce de León), Sevilla no se vende sola [Seville Doesn’t Sell Itself] (based on line C-1: Outer Circle), De pequeñas partes [From Small Parts] (based on line 2: Barqueta – Heliópolis), and Make Seville Great Again (based on line EA: Airport Special). These sound collages address everything from the everyday lives of people boarding and disembarking the bus, their actions, and the traffic circumstances they are immersed in, to political and social issues about the city and its history.
