Five pieces by different authors explore the traditional Lavapiés neighborhood, through its lights and shadows.

The neighborhood of Lavapiés, located in the district of Embajadores in Madrid, does not have a specific physical boundary. Despite this, the richness of its streets gives it its own distinct identity, which is reflected in these five pieces that aim to explore it from north to south and from east to west. Additionally, they incorporate fragments from what is known as the “sound laboratory,” which includes one-minute recordings taken in the neighborhood and used as the basis for the text composition.
