A journey through the imagery of water through stage performance, a pop-up book with augmented reality elements and a virtual reality experience.
A story about a man and a woman in a house, in which a day of heavy rain causes the house to sink. The piece is divided into three parts in different formats: Acqua Alta – Ink Black is theatrical, with actors on stage and interactive digital images; Acqua Alta – Crossing the mirror is a book whose models and images generate a miniature story only accessible through augmented reality; and Acqua Alta – Tête-à-tête is an immersive experience through a virtual reality helmet that allows you to experience a scene in immediate proximity. The narration of each of the experiences resonates with the other three. Claire Bardainne and Adrien Mondot create pieces with extensive use of technologies and visual art with a poetic character inspired by the human body.
